SNOWMAGEDDON TO A SPECTACULAR SPRINGTIME

 By

Minuet in G (Minnie G)

(a 1979 Argosy made by Airstream that remembers the snow, and is thankful for the springtime)

Douglas is a good friend of Vannie and Dave's
and is a fabulous photographer.
He took this photo of Gypsy Rhapsody at our lot in Texas
during the first snow of the season.
I was in Louisiana and missed the photo shoot.

Got back to Texas just in time for the second snow...
and boy, was it a doozie.
Valentine's Day...snow
Crock pot Soup...snow

Vannie went on a walk...and love was in the air.
This one spot on the road was melted in the shape of a heart.
Just never know what's going to show up along your path...
just gotta keep your eyes wide open.

It was COLD, folks.
When it gets down to 0...no matter how much heat
you have going on inside a trailer...IT"S COLD.
Layer up and carry on...

This flamingo in our park was chilly, but she still had her head held high.

Mardi Gras...my Louisiana gal was shaking in her boots.

...and then, just like that, it was over.
Vannie and Dave got some new gravel on their lot,
and Gypsy was shining like the top of the Chrysler Building.
Look closely and you can see a reflection of me.
Cool!!!

Baseball Season
Vannie, Dave, and I are at the Lone Star RV in Austin now.
V and D LOVE heading to the baseball field and watching
grandson, Vincent, play ball.  He plays 3rd base, pitcher, and left field.
Here he is winding up on the pitcher's mound.

Here's Dave showing us his muscles???
Their daughter, Emilie, had a bunch of dead plants in
her yard after Snowmageddon...so when one doesn't
have enough muscles to dig up a dead plant, one
just hooks one end of a tow rope to the hitch and ties
the other end to the plant...drives forward in the truck...
and, viola, removal of dead plant is DONE.
Brains not Braun!!!

Sweet Granddaughter, Maddie, and
the newest member of the Salvagio family, Prince.
Prince is a sweetie, too.

A Beautiful Day at the Waco Zoo
Vannie says that the Waco Zoo is one of the best in the state.
Spring Break ushered in a perfect day to go check it out.
Love this picture of a cat, blue sky, pink flowers.

The 3 stooges...

Beautiful day in the Neighborhood

Vannie and Maddie at the Ballet

The Girls enjoyed watching Cinderella.

Maddie's sleepover after the ballet...
She was working on a gypsy swag.
Upon completion, it will go on her window in her bedroom.

Sometimes girls need a touch-up.
Vannie said it was time for me.
I'm delighted someone has by back,
and keeps my appearance up to snuff.
