OK, Folks, 

I was in Austin the last time I blogged.

Now, I'm in Austin again.

Sooooo...

What goes around, comes around...

Let me fill you in on what's been happening in-between and over and under. 

Vannie loved dressing up as a 50's housewife

at the Chili Cook-Off at an Airstream Rally.

She made a turkey and pumpkin chili.

 Texans have a hard time getting their 

taste buds around a chili that is sooo

foreign. WHAT??? No beef and tomatoes!!!

It's just me at Texas Airstream Harbor, Inc. (TAHI).

TAHI is another Airstream-only community located

just east of Zavalla, TX. 

We were on our way to Louisiana.

It was our first time to visit this community.

It is right on the shores of Lake Sam Rayburn.

Beautiful Sunset!!!

Check out this supped-up golf cart.

It is the official firetruck for TAHI.

These hoses really work.

It has everything needed while waiting for the "real" truck to arrive.

I LOVE having them visit.

Maddie couldn't wait to read Vannie one of the

Gerald and Piggy books.

She has the voices of G and P down pat.

...and then, of course, the newest member of the family...

PRINCE!!!

And he is definitely THE PRINCE.

Not in Lafayette, LA for Mardi Gras...

well, Emilie discovered a place that makes mini

crawfish pies...Tiny Pies of Austin.

What a great way to celebrate Mardi Gras not in Louisiana!!!

Spring Break in Texas

Emilie rented a cabin with plenty of room for all of us.

The whole gang had lots of fun...

acting silly...

...and sillier...

...reading stories to Prince...

...painting knomes...

...and fairies and koalas...

...and glitter tattoos...

...making s'mores in the oven...

...and eating them, of course...

...enjoying the hot tub

...and riding on these peddle bikes...

(only Vincent and Maddie)

...and going to the arcade...l

...and trying to win that 5 dollar bill...

(which Vannie said never happened...after spending WAY more than 5 dollars trying)

...but look what adorable prizes they did win...

Dave said it was well worth whatever they cost!

(Emilie and Maddie were the only 2 that were brave enough to try)

Maddie really got the hang of it...

The Salvagio's and Harris' packed in a bunch of stuff while at Jellystone for 3 nights and 2 days.  It was a cold weekend, but the sun was shinning, and everyone was excited about the beginning of Spring Break.
