A FAMILY THANKSGIVING AT THE BEACH 2016

By
Gypsy Rhapsody

Nope...no beach for me,
but Vannie and Dave,
and Ashley, Diane, Cooper,
and Emilie, Roy, Vincent, Maddie
were on the sand,
in the ocean,
fishing,
cooking,
shelling,
and just have a grand ole time.
Gulf Shores, AL

Ashley, V and D's son, had some help fishing.

...but he looks like he didn't need help with this catch.
Yum...a red snapper...dinner tonight.

OK...who is going to do the digging?

Looks, like someone finally picked up the shovel.
Vincent's buried first...

...then Maddie...Well, it looks like she just preferred sunning.

...and then Cooper...
Yes, that's Cooper.  Vannie said he wanted to be sure "no sand in the eyes."

...a crawfish for this South Louisiana girl...

Ashley and Roy are having a big discussion.

Girls and the Beach go hand in hand.

Ahhhh...
Ashley, Emilie, Vannie...

...and Dave.

Vannie said, "Gypsy, this is my relaxed face."

Always time for a little hug...
(Ashley and Diane)

...and a little walk...
Emilie, Vincent, Maddie

...and a little goofiness...
(Roy and Maddie)

Yikes...Cooper looks like he is contemplating...
"Am I going to be eatten or not?"

Vannie and Diane having a little time in the kitchen...

...and here's Ashley at the grill.

The kids...
they were either watching TV...

or painting...

...or flying kites...

...or jumping in the waves...

...or snorkeling...

...or heading to the souvenir store...

...or playing putt putt...

Vannie said the adults took a swing or two themselves.

On the last night at the beach, the whole gang headed
to the Wharf at Orange Beach.
The petting zoo was a big hit...

...along with the pony rides...

...and the camel ride...
Dave said that this was our wise man, for sure.
The camel looks like he has had his picture taken before.

Santa at the Wharf...
well, my goodness.
Vannie said it was definitely the real one.
Vincent and Maddie took right to him.

Now, let the Christmas Season begin...
Vannie said that there is
something about a man tangled in lights
that is very appealing.  Hee Hee
