IT'S NOT MY FAULT

It's not my fault that I only posted one time in October.
Vannie and Dave left me on October 8 heading to Louisiana
for 50th high school reunions.  They were supposed to
return in just a few days.  Well, plans changed, and they didn't
return until November 3.  Usually Vannie sends me pics on my
phone...or by email, but she broke her camera and LUS fiber email
has been up and down for several weeks.  FINALLY, they are back,
so enjoy.

Just little ole me on our sight in Hillsboro.
North Texas Airstream Community
Love this place...I have so many friends here.

Vannie did gussy me up a bit before she left.
I do love looking pretty.

Vannie, Dave, and Pearl (Dave's mom) were in Pearl's car.

Oprah weekend in Houston...
How did Vannie get those tickets?
But the big question is...How did she get Dave to go with her?

Oprah...can you see her? She is that VERY small lady in the
middle of the yellow circle.  Obviously, V and D were in
the nosebleed section.  Vannie said 10,000 people.  Dave said
there were lots of empty urinals in his bathroom.  LOL

On to Lafayette, LA...Cooper

...gumbo

...Bach Lunch

Cooper, the little potter

Garage sale customers
Coleman Tent and sleeping bags for $14...
What a bargain!

Sweet Dough Pie Festival
Grand Coteau, LA
Vannie said there were sweet dough pies of every flavor...
lemon, sweet potato, coconut, blackberry, cherry, pumpkin, etc. etc. etc.

Cooper, the rock climber

Cooper, the bowler
I think V and D had fun with the little guy.

Back to Farmerville
Pearl's 96th birthday
Friends came over with food, presents, cake.

Austin, TX next on the agenda...
Halloween
Emilie, Roy, Vincent, Madeline

V - Power Ranger
M - Ninja Turtle

V and D really enjoyed the neighborhood fun.

The kids look like they were not sure about getting candy out of THAT bowl.
Note...the scary hand...Dave said it moved.

As we speak, we are all back in Hillsboro together.
V and D are
...washing clothes
...going to  doctor visits
...getting back on a healthy eating plan
...visiting with old friend
...watching TV
...and lovin' the good memories they made during these last few weeks.

I am sure glad to have them back.

    1. Carole, Cooper is quite a guy. He is in 4th grade at Broadmoor and making wonderful grades...mostly A's and a few B's. Remember those days when we would pic you up for church, and he was with us. Never a dull moment. LOL
